Canoe Camp
The 'ultimate camp experience' for campers who want to develop or fine-tune their skills in special areas of interest. Skilled instructors and coaches provide a specialized instructional program. All of the specialties are complimented with a full line-up of traditional camp activities to make this the unforgettable summer experience. Canoe camp will provide the participants with an introduction to canoeing, while being involved in many co-operative games and arts and craft activities. Occasionally, the camp will go on day trips that include paddling up the Humber River, hiking in High Park and nature lessons in Humber Bay Park.
Ages: 9 Yrs. to 13 Yrs.

Leadership

The Leadership program offers a unique outdoor, experiential learning experience for youth. Program activities focus on developing canoeing, wilderness and leadership skills. The leadership program is held from 9am-3pm on weekdays and is a two-week program. The first week takes place in the city at our Sunnyside location. The second week of program, the group will pack-out their trip on Monday and depart on Tuesday morning for a four-day canoe trip outside of the city (approx. 2 hours north). On trip, they travel by canoe and camp in tents.
Ages: 13 Yrs. to 24 Yrs.

Safe Canoeing
A 3 hour introductory canoe skills and safety course. For all ages, families are welcome (participants under 14 years of age must have adult accompaniment)
